Hispanic Church Mobilization

Hispanics, the largest minority in the United States, are now served by over 30,000 churches. This section of the Church in North America is passionate about outreach, and they continue to send missionaries all over the world. Some analysts believe the Hispanic church has moved de campo misionero a fuerza misionera (from a mission field to a mission force). In spite of their interest and participation in missions, Hispanic churches are far from reaching their potential. In addition to their zeal for missions, these churches need knowledge about strategically focusing for maximum impact.

Realizing the strategic and growing importance of the Hispanic Church, FollowOne launched SigueAUno International (SAUI) in 2006. SigueAUno translates and contextualizes the IMPACT Process and other resources of FollowOne to meet the specific needs of Hispanic leaders and churches. The SAUI team is helping Hispanic churches focus their resources for strategic impact, expand their current level of support and involve a greater percentage of their congregations in outreach.

Key Elements

  • The IMPACT Process — Coaching for leaders who want to expand the church’s outreach.
  • Tour de Mobilizacion — SAUI teams travel throughout the United States to inspire, equip and mobilize churches through preaching, witness and worship experiences.
  • Vision Trips to China — Experience opportunities for ministry in the most strategic country in the world
  • Reach International Students — Helps churches offer transforming hospitality to international students in their communities (especially those from Mainland China)

I thank God for the ministry of SAUI as you mobilize the church for mission. The Hispanic Church is a great and growing force in the USA, and we need the kind of direction and training that SAUI is uniquely providing. You are an answer to prayer.
